First Eurasian Economic Forum

Mr. Yen Vitaly, Managing partner of LEX Law Firm, and Mr. Lee Andrey, Executive director, took part in the First Eurasian Economic Forum in Bishkek on May 26, 2022.

LEX Law Firm representatives attended such panel discussions as “Perspectives of strategic development of Eurasian integration in the era of global changes”, “Industry and agriculture as drivers of economic growth of the Union and provision of economic security”, “New areas of interaction in the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter - EAEU)”.

In the context of current economic and political processes, dynamic changes in the rules of doing business, the EAEU plays an important role for entrepreneurs of the Kyrgyz Republic. And as Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov rightly noted at the opening of the Forum: “EAEU is capable of transforming into a major player of the world economy and assist in eliminating the distortions and imbalances that have developed over the past decades in world economic relations.”

LEX Law Firm, in its turn, is always ready to assist in strengthening and establishing ties between the EAEU subjects, which was the subject of constructive dialogue with various Forum participants from other countries of the Union, whom we were lucky to meet.

We should also mention the exhibition of the best agricultural products of the EAEU member states, which was very rich and diverse. It was an acquaintance not only with products of other states, but also with the cultural heritage of some of them, which again causes rapprochement and interest of businessmen to each other.
