EXPO-RUSSIA KYRGYZSTAN 2022 Business Forum and Exhibition

The first international industrial exhibition EXPO-RUSSIA KYRGYZSTAN 2022, EXPO EURASIA 2022 and the Bishkek Business Forum were held in Bishkek from June 21 to 23, 2022, where LEX Law Firm was awarded a diploma for participation in this Business Forum.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Marat Sharshekeev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Ravshan Sabirov, Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Vadim Gusev, Charge d'Affaires of the Russian Federation in Kyrgyzstan, representatives of “Zarubezh EXPO” and other official persons.

The aim of the exhibition was to support domestic businesses, establish joint ventures and attract investment.

According to Mr. Tilek Zhumaliev, Head of Export Development and Promotion Department of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Forum was designed to facilitate expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as search for potential partners, buyers, creation of industrial cooperation and productions.

The programme included a plenary session “Eurasia, Kyrgyzstan and EAEU - current and new formats of cooperation”, as well as thematic roundtables.

The Expo-Russia Kyrgyzstan 2022/Expo Eurasia 2022 joint exhibition was accompanied by the Bishkek Business Forum, where participants discussed ways of cooperation and held B2B meetings.

It is important to note that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and Zarubezh Expo JSC signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to hold the exhibitions.
