Business visit by a delegation from the Omsk region to the Kyrgyz Republic

LEX Law Firm participated in a business forum organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter - CCI KR) together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Omsk Region on April 20, 2023 between Russian and Kyrgyz companies in order to find partners and develop commercial activities.

Dmitry Ushakov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region, headed the delegation on the Russian side. The delegation also included representatives of major businesses and higher educational institutions in Omsk. Representatives of the Presidential Administration, as well as the head of the Chui Region and others took part in the business forum on the Kyrgyz Republic side.

In his speech, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Temir Sariev, noted that Russia is not only a strategic partner but also an ally for Kyrgyzstan. He also stressed that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic pays great attention to the expansion of economic interaction and strives to strengthen the bridge of cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.

Bilateral meetings were held with representatives of the Kyrgyz business community following a presentation by the event’s presenters and a video presentation describing the activities of 16 Russian companies, which presented such areas as the production of agricultural machinery, development and implementation of non-standard technological equipment and software products, clothing production, grain trade, cereals and pasta production, seed production, health, education, tourism, and much more.

LEX Law Firm held bilateral talks with the heads of the business forum’s delegate companies. As a result, LEX Law Firm opened up new opportunities for promoting and establishing business relations in Russian business circles of mutual interest.
