Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the business community from the Kyrgyz Republic took part in the business forum.

Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan noted in his speech that trade turnover between Lithuania and Kyrgyzstan has reached 372 million euros in 2022. This result is very positive, especially considering the geographical distance and the recent supply chain challenges. The positive dynamics of cooperation allows us to hope for a further increase in trade turnover. At the end of the business forum, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

After the presentation of the leading participants of the event and video presentation describing the activities of 10 Lithuanian companies, which presented such areas as logistics services, IT-technology, production of building materials, pharmaceuticals, construction of houses and buildings, the supply of feed for agriculture, production of metal structures, provision of recruitment services and more, bilateral meetings with representatives of the business community of Kyrgyzstan were held.

Lex Law Firm representatives negotiated with heads of companies - delegates of the business forum in the format of bilateral negotiations. As a result, Lex Law Firm opened new opportunities for assistance and establishment of business relations in Lithuanian business circles of mutual interest.

Lex Law Firm is very grateful to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic for the involvement and opportunity to participate in this business forum.
