Yearly Chess Tournament in honor of the Lawyer's Day 2023

By tradition on June 23, 2023 in hotel "EVROPA" LEX Law Firm with the support of the Kyrgyz Chess Union held Annual Chess Tournament for the Lawyer's Day.

This event was opened by the Partner, Executive Director of LEX Law Firm - Lee Andrey, and the Executive Director of the Kyrgyz Chess Union, International Arbitrator, Member of the Arbitration Commission of the International Chess Federation - Damir Talapker.

The head of LEX Law Firm in his welcome speech emphasized the importance of this tournament and underlined that "chess not only develops intelligence and strategic thinking, but also teaches a sporting attitude to victories and defeats. This is important to learn not only for lawyers, but also for everyone, because our entire life consists of victories and defeats, which we need to be able to accept with dignity. Having wished to the participants only victories and good luck, the panel of judges, who oversaw the observance of the rules of the game at the tournament, under the direction of the Arbitrator of FIDE - Nurdin uulu Sardarbek started the draw.

The tournament was held according to the Swiss system with 7 rounds, time control of 10 minutes per game with an extra 2 seconds for each move.

At the end of the tournament the prizes were distributed as follows:

- 1st place - Usenbaev Daniyar;

- 2nd place - Suerkulov Baitemir;

- 3rd place - Daniyarov Eldar.

The winner in the nomination "For the best game among women" was Maksatbek kyzy Toktayim.

Representatives of LEX Law Firm awarded the winners with cups, certificates of merit and valuable prizes, including a monthly membership fee to Maximum Fitness Club, national style chess, branded products and books from our partners.
