Strategic Session “Franchising in Kyrgyzstan”

On July 28, 2026, representatives of LEX Law Firm participated in the strategic session “Franchising in Kyrgyzstan”, organized by the Kyrgyz Franchise Association (KFA).
The event brought together representatives of the business community, government institutions, and experts interested in the development of franchising, support for entrepreneurship, and the promotion of Kyrgyz companies in domestic and international markets.
Participants discussed the current state of the franchising market in the Kyrgyz Republic, key trends, and prospects for its further development. A representative of the “Kyrgyz Export” Export Development and Promotion Center presented information on support measures available to domestic companies entering foreign markets. Within the framework of the strategic facilitation session, the priority areas of KFA’s activities were identified, and the Association’s action plan for 2026 was presented.
The legal aspects of franchising attracted particular interest among participants. The creation, acquisition, and expansion of a franchise require comprehensive legal support, including a properly structured contractual framework, protection of trademarks and other intellectual property rights, establishment of cooperation standards between franchisors and franchisees, as well as mitigation of corporate, tax, and commercial risks.
LEX Law Firm has practical experience in supporting business and investment projects, developing commercial agreements, and providing corporate structuring solutions. The Firm is ready to provide legal support both to local entrepreneurs developing their own franchises and to international brands seeking to enter the Kyrgyz Republic market.
LEX Law Firm expresses its gratitude to the Kyrgyz Franchise Association for organizing the event and inviting the Firm to participate. Such meetings contribute to a deeper understanding of the practical needs of market participants and support the formation of a transparent and sustainable environment for the development of franchising in Kyrgyzstan.
