Business Forum "Kyrgyzstan-China (Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region)"

On April 2, 2024, lawyers of LEX Law Firm visited the business forum "Kyrgyzstan-China (Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region)", organized by the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic B.E. Torobaev and Chairman of the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region E. Tuniyaz.

At the grand opening of the business forum, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic B.E. Torobaev delivered a welcoming speech, and Chairman of the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region E. Tuniyaz also delivered an opening speech.

The forum was attended by more than 300 entrepreneurs from the two countries from the spheres of agricultural, light industry, tourism, construction, pharmaceuticals and other fields.

The forum discussed a wide range of issues, including prospects for business cooperation, issues of attracting investment, promoting exports, regional integration and economic development.

Following the results of the Kyrgyzstan-China (Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region) business forum, agreements and memorandums worth a total of 1 billion 151 million US dollars were signed.
