Business forum "Homeland of the panda - Chengdu and Bishkek"

On May 31, 2024, lawyers of the LEX Law Firm attended the business forum "Homeland of the panda - Chengdu and Bishkek", which included a presentation of the trade, economic and logistics potential of China (Chengdu) and Kyrgyzstan. The organizer of this event was the People's Government of Chengdu.

Representatives of ministries and departments of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as 38 businessmen from Chengdu and 45 local entrepreneurs took part in the event.

The mayor of Bishkek Aybek Dzhunushaliyev made a presentation and noted those areas where investment projects can be implemented: construction of residential quarters with developed infrastructure facilities, installation of green roofs and vertical gardens to improve urban ecology and reduce heat island and increase energy efficiency of buildings, organization of courses and advanced training programs for engineers, architects and construction workers on the use of advanced technologies and solutions, the creation of new parks, squares and recreation areas to improve the urban environment and improve the quality of life of citizens, implementation of automated building management systems that control lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

Also speaking at the forum were Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic - Bolotov Sanjar Baktybekovich, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic - Bakirov Mamasadyk Sabirovich.

Presentations were made by the Mayor of Chengdu Wang Fengchao, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kyrgyz Republic - Li Baojie, Head of the Office of Ports and Logistics of Chengdu - Zeng Hu and others.

Within the framework of the business forum, seven memoranda were signed between:

1. Manas International Airport and Zhejiang Loong Airlines;

2. Kyrgyzpochtasy JSC and the Chengdu International Railway Port Investment and Development Company;

3. Howo Center Co., Ltd. is a CHINESE truck manufacturing company Chengdu Ace Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd.;

4. Bishkek Global Trading Company and Sichuan Guizhou China International Trade Co., Ltd;

5. Bishkek Global Trading Company and Sichuan Zhongzhi Investment Consulting Co.;

6. AYU Holding and Chengdu Hongmeng Automobile Group Co., Ltd.;

7. Central Asian Federation of International Logistics and Chengdu Chambers of Commerce and Supply Chain Associations.
