Business Breakfast on Key Amendments to the Tax Legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic

On 14 November 2025, LEX Law Firm took part in a business breakfast organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic on the topic: “Significant Amendments Introduced to the Tax Legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.” The event was held at Park Hotel Bishkek and brought together representatives from various business sectors interested in up-to-date clarifications regarding the revised tax regulations.

The speakers were:

• Ysabekov Kubanychbek Abdimutalipovich, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic;

• Nurbek Ismail uulu, Head of the Tax Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic

The experts presented participants with a detailed overview of the key provisions of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 243 dated 29 October 2025, “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Field of Taxation.” In their presentations, they highlighted the major updates that directly affect entrepreneurial activity and the financial reporting of companies.

After the presentation, representatives of the state authorities answered participants’ questions, focusing on the most relevant topics: the practical application of the new provisions, transitional rules, and possible changes in administrative procedures.

The business breakfast served as a productive platform for exchanging views between government authorities and representatives of the business community, and it also highlighted the importance of open dialogue during a period of active tax system reform.
